JPA designed a series of renovations and additions to existing industrial buildings on the campus of the Montgomery County Solid Waste South Transfer Station including a new administrative and conference center for the facility. Projects have included: • New office building addition. • New access road. • New interior roads to improve traffic patterns. • Relocation of fuel canopy and tanks. • Relocation/conversion of tire canopy into public drop-off recycling center. • Expansion of existing facilities for public disposal of metals, yard waste, appliances, tires, trash, etc. • ADA improvements for staff shower, locker rooms, etc. • New public drop-off building with two load-out bays. • New scales. • Consolidation of operations at the South site. • Road and traffic improvements to permit doubling of traffic. • Addition of a new scale house and relocation of existing scales to facilitate increased demand. • Addition of new canopy structures. • Creation of outdoor yard waste drop-off pad. • Creation of way-finding signage. • Replacement of pneumatic tube payment system
