PROJECTS
Dayton Salvation Army Kroc Center
JPA collaborated with the Dayton, Ohio Salvation Army to construct a $37 million campus on the unique
site of an old estate in the middle of an industrial section of North Dayton. Funding provided by the Joan B. Kroc Foundation has allowed the Dayton Salvation Army to build and operate this multi-use recreation, education, community, and worship center with faith-based programming. JPA has assisted the Salvation Army with site evaluation and selection, programming, developing a preliminary estimate of probable construction cost, various campus concepts, and complete design services including interior design for the entire four building campus consisting of a Worship and Arts Center, Recreation Facility, Education Building, and the historical restoration of an early 20th century estate home. Construction was completed in May, 2010. Danis Construction served as the Construction Manager on this project.
